木瓜最早產於熱帶美洲，直到17世紀從西印度群島進入亞洲，清末時才從中國引進臺灣，如今許多熱帶國家都能見到木瓜的蹤跡，例如印度、巴西、菲律賓、臺灣等。木瓜本身是雌雄異株，同時也有兩性同株的果樹，雄性株只開公花，無法結果；雌性株只開母花，可透過外力授粉結果；兩性株則是花朵本身就具有雌雄兩性花蕊。本創作以木瓜花作為一種性別移動的對象，透過3D建模的方式，讓同性的花朵彼此對望。

The papaya is delicious, but homophyletic fruit trees exist. Male strains bloom but cannot bear fruit. Female strains bloom only female flowers and can be pollinated through external forces. Hermaphroditic strains have female and male flowers. However, this study aims to explore only the flowers and the matching of the flowers as well as the original gender characteristics of papaya flowers.
